THE FLOWER, THE RIDGE AND THE ANCIENT ROAD
An itinerary that combines wild nature, traces of history and landscapes that surprise step by step. We will start from the quiet of Casa Coppi, among silent woods and paths, to enter a world that alternates breathtaking views and hidden corners, along the ancient streets of the Ducal Road and the Italian Trail.
We will climb to the suggestive Balzo delle Rose, a natural balcony that dominates valleys and ridges, and then cross the Hannibal Pass, a place with a legendary name and an almost mystical atmosphere.
What's included
The participation fee includes only the accompaniment for the duration of the day of Eleonora Fornasiero (Environmental Hiking Guide, associated with AIGAE - Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides with registration numberER1038, authorized pursuant to Regional Law 4/2013)

- Difference in altitude: +/- 550 meters
- Duration: 5 hours (excluding stops)
- Meeting point: at the Casa Coppi car park in Val di Luce (PT); the exact location will be provided to the members
- Excursion suitable for people used to walking in the mountains, in a good state of psycho-physical health and with appropriate clothing
- Minors are admitted compulsorily accompanied by a responsible adult and guarantor, from 12 years of age.
- DOGS: allowed if used to walking in groups and kept on a leash.
Required equipment:
- Low hiking shoes with well-sculpted technical sole or hiking boots
- Backpack
- Layered clothing with a windproof and waterproof garment
- Personal water supply (at least 1.5 L)
- Packed lunch
Recommended equipment:
- Trekking poles
- Any snacks
- Sun hat
- Insect repellent
- Sun cream
Those who do not show up properly equipped may be discarded at the start, at the sole discretion of the guide.
The use of new, never used material is not recommended.
